Long time no update... about 10 months? I'm getting into blogging mode, and I plan to commit. :P
So, what have I been up to lately?
Well, I've been making chou-chous (scrunchies) lately. I've been inspired by the mori girl community on livejournal, so I'm really into natural/organic-y feeling things. As for how to make the chou-chous, I'm using this tutorial. I don't know why, but for some reason, Japanese craft tutorials are the best for me. I also found this video tutorial by Usako.
I also bought a yard of linen for $3.50-ish, so I might make a tunic, but we'll see.
As for the chou-chou, the sewing machine was making the thread all loose, so I've been hand sewing them. I'm so bad at hand sewing, haha. I did make one using the sewing machine yesterday, but I haven't taken any photos of it yet.
I've been going to a couple estate sales, and I snagged a ton of lace and zippers. I wonder how I should go about washing the zippers...
Estate sales are pretty addicting...but they remind me that I have way too much junk. ):
As for more crafts, I got a bit of Firefly PLUFFY clay. It's not easy to use, especially with molds, I just added a ton of water to it, and put it into a piping bag and made a couple whipped creams.

Wow I didn't know you can make cream from Puffy clay. I've read on one blog that Puffy is quite sticky so I gave up buying it.
